Wow, seems its been a long time since I posted anything in here... Oddly enough im at work again doing yet another night shift. Today is the 24th of June and I am sitting here staring at the giant stage set up for Canada day on the front lawn of Parliament Hill. It has been a nice quiet night... a good way to have any night shift go.
My "mini-bus" Montana actually handles pretty well in the snow, but thats long gone now. *sigh of relief* Instead of dealing with a winter cold I currently have one of those obnoxious a/c colds. Oh well at least the weather is nice and the cold wont last long.
My son did end up looking alot like me, my little sister keeps calling him mini-doe. He is just too cute for words, and now that he is 4 months old, he is finally developing his own personality. It's sooo much fun watching a new person discover the world around them, the wife and I were also very luck in that our daughter absolutely loves him. She is always trying to share things with him, its very cute to watch!
Well I guess thats about it for now. have a nice day and enjoy whats left of the weekend, im going to the cottage...

*YAWN*
As much as I love the night shifts, i miss my bed more... dont get me wrong the money is good but i would much rather be at home snug in my bed staring at the back of my eyelids than here at work staring at the traffic going past the hill at all hours...
Only one more day 'till I find out what date we will be induced, I am now getting anxious not just for the three months off im taking but also to FINALLY see my son, I wonder if he will look as much like me at birth as my daughter did... just glad for her sake that she does not look like me anymore... if she did she would be one pugfugly woman as she grew up and not like the cute little angel she is :)

Time to try the drive home....
Well this is going to be interesting, i have just purchased a new Pontiac Montana and this is going to be the first time i drive it in the snow... i feel like I'm driving a bus on a regular day, i wonder how this is going to feel???
My only hope is that all the morons that end up in front of me on a daily basis are missing today (or at least in the ditch already) that way i wont have to contend with them. I can't wait to see what the required braking room is in this thing... if anyone has driven one let me know.
Cheers
